Well I finally think I have time to give twitter a go. Lets see if I can keep it up and get into the habit. Now I need to develope a friends list, and learn all the ins and outs. I love summer time to play and explore.
When it comes to providing an on-line component for professional development in my district we have been using Moodle and wikispaces and Google groups. Depending on the length of the professional development or proficiency of users these tools have served us well. But I have been taking a look at Ning as an option. I have been so engrossed in SecondLife lately that I have neglected to write about free tools to use in education. VoiceThread is wonderful tool allowing the mix of images and audio, it also allows people to leave audio or text comments. It is well worth a look. I hope to spend some time experimenting once school.
