Mostly entertaining family… It has been a busy week full of friends, family and lots of fun. But not too much time for keeping up with communication and collaboration with my web connected friends, blogs and Second Life. Is that how you say it?

I have joined Ryan’s SecondLife Blogger’s Cafe and Jen Wagner’ web based cafe. Though I have not participated in any discussions yet. I have aided in a Discovery Educators Network tour of Second Life. It was a merger of a real life and Second Life demonstration. To find out more about the DEN in Second Life please check out the DEN blog. I have also been playing with twitter not sure about that yet.

I am developing a course on Universal Design and Assistive Technology and a re-working a workshop introducing teachers to Second life. I am very much looking forward to the later. I love watching people as they begin to investigate and explore this amazing world. I am having lots of fun checking out places to take them and making a list of people I would like them to meet in world. I have only 3 hours with each group. So much to do so little time. The handout of places to see and helpful hints keeps growing, so will the resources that will be added to the wiki.

I think that about covers it. More later on the course and SL workshops. As I iron out the details I will post more info and the resources.
